Hello Bloggers,
Just a quick post to share a card I completed last night. I was totally inspired by a card that I saw in the July/August edition of Paper Crafts magazine. No fancy coloring, stitching or flowers. Just a simple card using beautiful papers from K &Company, designed by Tim Coffey, some vintage seam binding from Wild Orchid Crafts and a little pearl from my stash. The sentiment was used on the inspiration card and it was so appropriate for this card. I didn't have the stamp, which by-the-way is from Papertrey Ink, so I used my printer. I checked out the stamp set and it is lovely. I believe I will be purchasing it in the future! Hope you all have a good evening!

Happy Father's Day
Hello Bloggers,
Well, better late than never, though I still have a couple of hours left before day is over... tonight I want to share this years Father's Day card. It's always so tough making those masculine cards, but I like the way this turned out. I used the Classic Chevy digi stamp from Stitchy Bear Stamps and colored it up with my copics. My good friend, Glossy Accents was used on the headlights as well as the car windows to give it the glass look. I hope you like it and I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Have a great week.

The card base is kraft cardstock from Papertrey Ink, the patterned papers are from the new Tattered Time collection from DCWV, some eyelets and twine finish it up/

Birthday Card
Hello Bloggers,
I hope you all are enjoying your weekend so far. Tonight I thought I'd share a birthday card I just completed for a dear friend. I actually finished the card in one afternoon, which is good for me; I'm such a slow-poke when it comes to crafting. Have a great rest of the weekend!

This is a Pure Innocence digi image I purchased from the artist at her Etsy shop, colored with my copics. The patterned paper is "Pink Patterns" from Papertrey Ink as it the twine that is wrapped around the card.
The flowers are prima, with the exception of the tiny rose in the center, which is from I Am Roses. The bling is also from Prima.
I used Stampin Up cardstock for the card base.
Inside of card... stamp set is "Birthday Cupcake" from Inkadinkado. Sentiment on the front is also from this set.

My Contest Submission
Hello Bloggers,
Update... I didn't win, but that's okay. I had a blast making it and there's always next time!
Tonight I'd like to share my submission to a contest that was being conducted over on YouTube by Lindy's Stamp Gang. The theme was "Under the Sea" and you pretty much could create anything you wanted, but you just had to use their products and follow the theme. Well, I decided to use a the faux sea glass technique from the Paper Transformed book I purchased a while ago. I LOVE how it came out. I used my Amazing Mold Putty to make mold the shells and then used Sculpey clay to make the shells and colored and embossed them with the Lindy's products. I used my copic markers to color up the mermaid (she's so cute).
There will be 5 winners which will be announced on June 8th. Keep your fingers crossed...

Thieving Birds
Hello Bloggers,
I was going through my memory card and came across a couple of pictures I took a month or so ago of some birds gathering nesting materials. One little rascal, decided to pick apart my planter on my front porch. The other thief, pulled apart my dining room screen, which now has two holes, one of which is quite large. I spent the day gardening, so no crafting conducted today. Tomorrow is expected to be a bit overcast, so I'm hoping to spend at least a few hours in my craft room. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Happy Friday
Hello Bloggers,
Welcome to another weekend. It's been quiet week as far as crafting goes so I thought I would share a project that I created a few months ago. Tonight's post is a thank you card I made for my mother after returning from a wonderful vacation in Florida. I used a stamp that I purchased while in Florida at a wonderful LSS. I really love this stamp and I look forward to making a lot more projects with it. I hope you all have a great weekend and hopefully, I'll get to hang out in my craft room and create.
