I'm back tonight, after a long hiatus, to share a couple of Valentine's projects that I just completed. I was perusing YouTube the other day and watched a great tutorial on how to make these cute little candy/gift containers using empty toilet paper rolls. I thought these would make cute little gifts to send to my nieces for Valentine's Day! I have tons of empty rolls that I had saved a couple of years ago for some tp minis that I wanted to do. Well, as usual, my plans fell through, so this was the perfect project to use some of them up.
I also decided to use these projects as an opportunity to use items from my stash that have to this point, remained unused. I was very pleased to be able to use some trims and lace for the first time ever.
Keeping with the same theme with using what I already had in my stash, I decided to use this darling image from Tiddly Inks.
Here you can see all of the trims and lace I used. I dyed the hangers on both with my Distress Stains. The colors matched the papers perfectly.
I made my own sentiment using a heart punch and some Glossy Accents.
Of course, I colored up the images with my copic markers. The paper I used to cover the tp rolls were older paper stacks from My Minds Eye (Lost and Found-Blush) and Fancy Pants (Love Story)
I lined the insides with some remnants from old bridesmaid dresses that I've had in my closet for years. I really did use everything in my stash.
wow wow wow Tina!! they are just completely adorable! I love them to bits! so clever hun.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing them with the tiddly inkers!
