Hello Bloggers,
I can't believe another week has gone by already. We've had some spring-like weather the last few days, but it's cold again today and more snow is predicted Monday. Oh well, spring is coming...
I was asked to share another one of my crafting storage solutions. I had purchased a closet maid cabinet and shoe-holder cubby at Target to help out with storing my ever-growing crafting supplies. The cubbies are quite deep and I needed some "drawers" to hold the smaller items. After walking around Target for at least an hour, I ended up in the bathroom section and found some plastic storage containers that fit perfectly in the cubes and slide out just like a drawer. I use those to house all of my inks!

Captured Fairy in a Bottle
Hello Bloggers,
I hope you all had a nice weekend. I was able to complete a crafting project this weekend and it went quite fast. It usually takes me sooo long to complete projects, but I started this one early Saturday evening and finished it up Sunday morning. This is a "Captured Fairy" in a bottle. I watched a video on YouTube and just had to make one myself. There are a couple of great YouTube and Ustream videos that describe how to make them and if you check out my video (see below), I provide all the links if you're interested. This will be going to my niece as part of her birthday present and in fact, the little fairy inside the bottle has been photo shopped with her likeness. I am taking part in a swap on a website that I belong to, so I will be able to create another one and I'll be getting my own back in return. I can't wait and I will definitely share the next creation with you.

Am I Suffering?
Hello Bloggers,
Well, nothing crafty to post right now, but wanted to share a couple of pictures that I took a couple of weeks ago. I noticed one afternoon that Saybel (my kitty) was very interested in something on the deck. I took a peek outside and saw a squirrel nibbling on some leftover herbs from my herb garden from the summer. I've heard that when a bad winter is expected, you get an overabundance of acorns. Well, that was the case this past Fall here in CT. There were tons of acorns on our lawn and as I'm sure you've heard, we've had quite the winter this year. I grabbed my camera and took some shots. Mr. Squirrel seems to have taken advantage of the extra acorns and is no worse for wear!

Steampunk Debutante Altered Box
Hello Bloggers,
I hope you are enjoying your week so far...it's almost over. Tonight I'd like to share a project I just completed. This is a balsa wood box from the $1.00 bin at Michael's. I used my current favorite paper, Graphic 45 Steampunk Debutante and a number of embellies from my stash to alter the box. I love how it came out! I was able to pick up a few of the boxes and can't wait to alter the rest. If I get ambitious this weekend, I may create a little mini to store in the box. I will post more pics when/if I get that done.
