Hello Bloggers,
It's been a while since I've posted. The last few weeks have been super busy at work; putting in 50-55 hours a week takes a toll on my crafting and blogging time, but I was able to squeak in a few projects over the last few weeks. A crafty friend, Heather aka The Paper Castle, over on YouTube has started up a series where she is completing different techniques from the book "Paper Transformed" by Julia Andrus. I thought it was a wonderful idea and purchased the book and decided to follow along with her. Here's a link to her YT channel if you'd like to check out her videos.
The first technique was water marbeling using watercolors or pastels. I chose pastels and below are my results. I finally was able to breakout my Tim Holtz tag die that I got before Christmas. I've also been practicing my copic coloring (have a bit of work to do on that; coloring the hair is driving me crazy) and decided to use my of my colored images to make a tag with one of the pieces I marbeled. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other techniques and I will post as I complete them.
