In an effort to catch up with posting my progress (I’m currently caught up with my daily ink explorations), I’ll show two days per post until caught up.
Day three features one of my favorite Sailor Shikiori inks, “Shito-Shito.” I love the light teal or is it turquoise? I never quite know which it is, but nonetheless, the ink is lovely, and the shading is divine. The name “Shitoshito” (しとしと) translates to “silent and still,” referring to the quiet sound of spring rain falling on plants, which makes me love it even more!

I used another favorite ink, along with my current favorite pen, for Day four. I’ve always preferred these lighter shades of brown, but they can sometimes be challenging to use with finer nibs. This pen performed exceptionally well, showcasing the ink’s beautiful shading qualities.
